This is a senior leadership role charged with the delivery of Manchester Digital’s strategic objectives as defined by the Managing Director 和 the board. 


This role is integral to the success of Manchester Digital 和 you will play a key part in developing the profile 和 membership of Manchester Digital 和 the overall success of the sector.  你将负责提供会员资格和营销策略, 基于我们从会员那里收集的洞察力和智慧.

  • Possess significant experience 和 a genuine interest in the digital 和 technology sector. We are seeking a passionate individual who is deeply engaged with the latest trends, 创新, 以及行业内的发展,特别关注人才发展.

  • Come from a very strong people management / leadership background with significant experience in leading 和 motivating teams to achieve operational goals, 解决冲突, 培养积极的工作文化.

  • Be commercially minded 和 comfortable with revenue based targets 和 be able to translate these into achievable goals 和 targets for smaller teams within a multi-faceted business operation.

  • Resource 和 人员管理 with experience of human resources including staff management, 招聘, 终止, 纪律处分.

  • Mentor 和 motivate a small busy team 和 support them to define their priorities 和 meet objectives 和 targets.

  • 为团队成员设定明确的绩效期望和目标, 和 conducting regular performance evaluations to assess progress 和 provide constructive feedback.

  • Collating 和 analysing productivity data to optimise staffing 和 production capacity in order to deliver on strategy.

  • Maintaining 和 managing monthly forecasts 和 providing monthly reports to the Managing Director on membership growth 和 events revenue.

  • Ensuring our operations meet the financial goals 和 objectives of the organisation.


运营管理


  • Ensuring our delivery plan achieves against all of our strategic objectives as set by our Managing Director 和 Board.

  • Review 和 improve processes 和 procedures to enable the business to scale more efficiently.

  • Oversee Manchester Digital’s technology infrastructure, including software 系统 和 hardware.

  • Working with the Managing Director 和 the board to develop an ambitious membership strategy 和 set team goals 和 objectives to align with this.

  • Work with the Head of 天赋与技能 to ensure that we are maximising the benefit of our talent 和 skills activity across the membership.

  • Spot opportunities 和 gaps in the market where Manchester Digital can develop new products 和 services.

  • Driving revenue 和 ensuring that the team meets ambitious commercial targets whilst ensuring we deliver value for money for membership 和 continuously appraise ROI on the use of member funds

  • 确保事件之间的活动, marketing 和 membership team is connected 和 cohesive 和 that we are optimising the strengths of the team.

我们的团队目前从周一工作到周五, 上午9点至下午5点30分,星期五上午9点至下午5点, but there may be an occasional need to support or represent Manchester Digital at early morning or evening events. 


Our flexible working policy incorporates two fixed days working from our Manchester office (Tuesday 和 Thursday) with the flexibility to be able to work remotely on the other 3 days.
